Parkour in commercials; they're becoming more evident now.


So, now the famous Daniel Ilabaca works with the director of Iron Man to create the new 5 gum commercial. A great showing of parkour. The thing is, of course there are no such places like this in real life. This is like, a dream of a traceur. Daniel has a bracelet to control his environment to his will. I'm just saying, as a traceur myself, it's great to see that parkour is becoming so worldly accepted and practiced. The only thing is that I worry if parkour will become seen as a sport instead of a discipline and shown in competition. I'm not saying competition is bad or horrible. Ninjutsu, and other martial arts are disciplines and yet some of them are shown in a competitive fashion. Either way, a nice commercial showing off some parkour in a dream area. If only such a place existed. However, the beauty of parkour is being able to express your movement in the urban and natural worlds we live in.
