Tricking is Movement

Just like the title says: tricking is movement and movement is parkour. Just understand that this is not commutative; Parkour is not tricking. With that said, the flight and flow of this man is astounding. He always wanted to fly as a child and now here he is showing the fruits of his labor and the beauty of his movement. These are his words "Oh guys thank you very much, I'm really happy to see, as you like this samp, 118039 views WTF? I love everybody and wish to all - lets your dreams will come true, because when i was a child i dreamed to fly and now i can do this, and i do appreciate that you thumps up, its not for me money, its more important - its aspiration to do tricks more, its feel life and feel happiness. Thank you!!!!!! and Love!!!!" Check it out and enjoy.

Flow: the Natural Environment

"Lucid Dream" is the name of this video. Well, I liked this video. This video showed a great tracuer moving with confidence and with ease. That's all there is to it. For those who are not at such a level where they are in tune with their bodies and have the confidence to implement what they envision; this is a great goal to aspire to. As always, here's the video.
Enjoy!

Parkour: Build Bonds

Okay, I've been hammering the fact that Parkour is a great way to be creative and have fun. So, this shall be my final blog on this subject for some time. Here is this nice, relaxing video of friends just having fun; using their environment and themselves. I love it. I like how there are so many people that actually understand Parkour's message and it's discipline instead of the few that just see it as needless jumping around or a large amount of flips and tricks. Just keep it up is what I say. I see parkour becoming larger than it is even today. Perhaps it will be taught in schools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges even. I can see parkour being something that you see people doing right around the corner; people not being locked out of apartments since they can climb into their window if needed, no more balls stuck in trees, no more fat cops (ha ha). Just a healthier and safer society because we would have more knowledge and control of our bodies. We've learned how to walk and jump right? Why not learn a new level? Parkour. Train safe and have Fun.

Update of my Life

Okay I understand that these blogs were to be dedicated to parkour. However, I got the new Playstation Vita (playstation life). Hm...well, I amusing it right now to create this blog and I had "parkoured" to a building top that has wifi internet so in that sense, this isparkour related. So, what in the world is a PSV? Well I'll have a nice website for you to check if you understand words like accelerometer and gyro sensor or even if you don't. However, I shall give a brief explanation of the mighty PSV. Check it out here: http://us.playstation.com/psvita/features/ The PSV has a 5" OLED very high definition screen, 3G capabilites (only through AT&T nooooo), a front and rear camera, microphone, blue tooth, touch screen and rear touch pad, and an accelerometer and gyro sensor which basically means when you tilt the vita the vita knows you did and it may contribute to the game you are playing; for balance ot maybe steering a car instead of using one of the two analog sticks. So yea, check out the video if you please. It's some hardware I have of which I'll use to take some beautiful picture and videos of my explorations and other things. As always, train safe and have fun!

The game of tag and lava floor taken to a new level

This is what I'm talking about! Have fun with the movement that we have. Have you ever played the game where the carpet is "lava" and you have to go from one spot to another by stepping on rugs and other things without touching the carpet? How about the good ol' game of tag? Well, what if you place those together with some parkour?

So is this the most amazing demonstration of what I envisioned or what I've actually done myself as a parkour artist? No. However, they were having fun; getting better as well! This is an aspect that some people forget about parkour. Have fun with it; explore, reach new limits, be creative! Who knows, maybe I'll post a video of me and some of my friends doing a "parkour game" of our own. Who knows. Be creative in life, explore possibilities and have fun. Train safe.

State of Art; new show about PK

So, there is a talk show about parkour names "state of art". It seems it was a big hit! It aired last Monday on Ustream. You can check out the first episode on the video below.
I suppose I do not mind talk shows. I mean, as long as parkour is being explained as the discipline it is and not being placed as a sport or anything of that nature, I'm all for it. Well, this will be a short blog. Check out the episode, enjoy some info, hopefully it'll help you with something. Train safe and have fun!

Capoeira reflects movement

Another video of a tracuer doing capoeira. It is all movement; it's all free. Enjoy!

Movement is Parkour

The hawaiian parkour icon Ozzi shows a simple, peaceful video of movement that incorporates a brazilian martial art called capoeira; another art that I actually practice myself even though Ozzi clearly stated that he does not practice it but used some of it's movements in his "energy flow"

A relaxing video of control and just expressing movement; always carrying over the momentum from the first step. It's a concept that parkour artists incorporate as they become more advanced and more able to control their bodies. Along with the physical flow, the mind flows as well. Maybe you guys can take this into account in your everyday lives; take positivity and build upon it in the obstacles in your lives.
Stay safe and live free.

Parkour in commercials; they're becoming more evident now.

So, now the famous Daniel Ilabaca works with the director of Iron Man to create the new 5 gum commercial. A great showing of parkour. The thing is, of course there are no such places like this in real life. This is like, a dream of a traceur. Daniel has a bracelet to control his environment to his will. I'm just saying, as a traceur myself, it's great to see that parkour is becoming so worldly accepted and practiced. The only thing is that I worry if parkour will become seen as a sport instead of a discipline and shown in competition. I'm not saying competition is bad or horrible. Ninjutsu, and other martial arts are disciplines and yet some of them are shown in a competitive fashion. Either way, a nice commercial showing off some parkour in a dream area. If only such a place existed. However, the beauty of parkour is being able to express your movement in the urban and natural worlds we live in. Click down below to check out the website for more parkour news and other things. Train safe!

Starting from the foundation; parkour and shoes.

http://www.parkour.com/news/2012/01/demon-drills-stop-being-a-newbie-start-training-barefoot/

I enjoy how informative this video is. More so, on how they actually show and pretty much prove what they say, and I've experienced some of the things mentioned here as well; fallen arches being one of them. People, with all of our shoes and things, don't understand the benefits of being close to barefoot, and the better benefits of BEING barefoot. Now in society, if someone were barefoot, such a person would be scrutinized for not wearing shoes; looked at and treated funny. However, and this has been scientifically proven, being grounded to the Earth. Meaning in connection with it, able to feel it, allows it's endless energy to balance and work with yours. In scientific terms, for an example, our immune system fights things off by sending these things that are in need of an electron. So, by taking the electron needed from a viral bacteria, the bacteria becomes unstable and dies off. Unfortunately, with us now and days who are so disconnected from the Earth, our electron levels are high and that certain thing that is sent to take electrons, starts taking them from good cells, like those for bones. Which is where things like arthritis comes from. In short, with Parkour being such an extreme discipline, to be able to feel yourself, and your environment; to be able to respond to it as best as you can requires the correct foot wear. It's something that is important in all that we do, sports, walking, running, life. Well, try it. Go barefoot a little bit. Just....not if your in the winter. Your feet are two of your extremities which lose heat the fastest. Keep those nice and warm!
