Hunger Games and parkour?

Okay, all of you Hunger Games fans, check this out. The creator of parkour, David Belle, had trained Amandla Stenberg, the female heorine of the Hunger Games. See? Parkour is so a movement so fun, she even said so. So even if you're not a hunget games fan, which I suppose I will be, watch the movie for the parkour! Here's part of the article if you want more information.

Women and Age?

In the beginning, Parkour used to be seen performed by males in their late teens/early twenties. But now, times are changing, people younger and older are getting into the swing of things as well as the females of our race. It's about time! Check a little research done by clicking here!

Avatar 2???

Ever seen the amazing movie of the Navi? These 9-10 foot tall blue humanoid beings with tails that live on a lush planet that they actually live with unlike us humans do? Humans on earth just use and take from their planet, the navi live with it, they give back to their planet. Anyways, there's talk about this movie being a trilogy, and if you havn't seen the first movie. Well....SEE IT! It will change and or embolden your perspective about our lives on earth.

This pertains to parkour in the way they take care of problems in the most efficient way possible, and there are also some amazing feats and stunts that occur in this natural world. I wonder if this is how earth used to be?

Enjoy James talking about the second installment of Avatar.

Another Challenge episode

Okay, so two more episodes for these people taking challenges have come out. Hilarious like before, and a great showcase of creativity and movement of parkour. Enjoy Episode 3 and 4. If you ever think you have no place to parkour, go downtown, go to a park, or use two rocks. Explore! The world is ours to live upon, we were given this privilege, enjoy every second of it.

Conquerin' fears

This is quite a feat this man pulled. To climb "La dame du Lac" or the dame of the lake, if my French is correct. This obstacle was shown many times in the early videos of the creator of parkour, Daniel Belle. So this caught me interest when I saw that someone else was climbing it. The fun part? You get to view this in first person view. Don't get motion sickness! Enjoy!

Touring Madrid

Hey, just showing another video. This is just one of the reasons why I really want to head out east; to europe. The way it is the continent was built upon is perfect for parkour. I mean truly perfect. Also, I feel like you get really rewarded in the place you go to. In France you can see the tower, or the beautiful gardens or even the castles, here in Madrid as you'll see, you have the rivers and the statues. It's no fair haha. But alas, there's beauty here in the States as well and that shall be shown on a later blog. Stick around and enjoy!

Habits

People get so content that they begin a routine. Routines that most do not even realize they commit every day. 21 days, 21 days to create habit. So I challenge you. Try and break undesirable habits, and retain desired habits. I've made parkour a habit of mine, what will you make yours?
